Basic Digitales Drawing
- Workshop for beginners and interested parties with little previous knowledge
- Which tools – for what? Basics in digital art
- Perspective and geometric shapes
- Organic forms and their simplification
This workshop is intended for participants with little to no prior knowledge of digital drawing. It is an advantage if you already have knowledge of classical drawing and/or painting.
Similar to the art supply store, today there are not only a variety of programs for digital drawing and painting, but also countless tools in the programs that you can work with. This can quickly overwhelm you and lead to frustration. Therefore, in this workshop we will start with an introduction to the program and a small selection of tools that we will work with throughout the week.
To begin, you warm up by drawing simple geometric shapes. Your teachers will go over the principles of perspective again. As the workshop progresses, you will learn to simplify organic shapes and draw contour lines.
For more three-dimensionality, you will continue to dedicate yourself to working and dealing with different levels and understanding light and shadow. You will learn to create colors and color layers and create different textures.
At the end of the workshop, you will design a project based on a template using everything you have learned so far. This checks whether you have understood the principles and techniques and are able to apply them.
