For students aged 12 to 16 who want to gain their first experience with oil painting and explore classical painting techniques – no prior knowledge required.
What will I learn?
Fundamentals of Oil Painting
You'll learn how to handle oil paints, work in layers, and mix colors effectively. The course also covers proper care and cleaning of your materials.
Composition & Perspective
Discover how to build a realistic image with a focus on composition, spatial depth, and perspective to make your artwork more convincing.
Practical Exercises & Still Life
After several guided exercises, you'll create your own small still life – arranged by you and painted using the techniques you've learned.

Process & schedule
- 5-day long workshop, 30 hours of lessons in total
- Class times: Monday-Friday from 9:30-16:30
- Lunch break: 12:30-13:30
- Language: German and/or English, depending on individual language skills
