General Terms And Conditions

1. Scope of Application

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all bookings for workshops, courses, and events offered by JDVM Holding GmbH (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”). By booking a workshop, the participant accepts these GTC as binding. Any deviating terms and conditions of the participant are expressly excluded unless they have been confirmed in writing by the Organizer.

2. Conclusion of Contract

Registration for a workshop can be done via the website or in writing by email. By booking, the participant makes a binding offer to conclude a contract. The contract is concluded upon written confirmation of booking or invoicing by the organizer.
The number of participants per workshop is limited. Participants will be accepted in the order in which payment is received. There is no entitlement to a specific date until full payment has been received.

3. Prices and Payment Terms

The prices stated at the time of booking apply.

The total workshop fee is due immediately upon booking. No deposit is required. Payment must be made within one week of receipt of the invoice or in accordance with the payment method selected at the time of booking via the payment provider.

If payment is not made on time, the organizer reserves the right to allocate the workshop place to another participant without further notice. Upon receipt of full payment, the workshop place is bindingly reserved.

4. Right of Withdrawal

Consumers are entitled to the statutory right of withdrawal in accordance with § 355 BGB (German Civil Code):

Participants may withdraw from the contract in writing (e.g., by email) within 14 days without giving reasons. The withdrawal period begins upon receipt of the booking confirmation.

In the event of an effective withdrawal within this period, the amount already paid will be refunded in full. After expiry of the 14-day withdrawal period, a refund is excluded.

Participants who expressly agree that the workshop will begin within the withdrawal period lose their right of withdrawal as soon as the workshop starts.

5. Cancellation after Expiry of the Withdrawal Period / Rebooking / Voucher

After expiry of the statutory withdrawal period, a monetary refund is excluded.

Rebooking to another workshop date or issuing a voucher for the amount already paid is only possible if:

•    the organizer is informed in writing (by email) at least four weeks before the start of the workshop.

Only in this case can the participant choose between the following options:

1.    Rebooking to an available workshop date,
2.    Issuance of a voucher for the amount already paid.

If notification is received less than four weeks before the start of the workshop or in the event of no-show, there is no entitlement to rebooking, a voucher, or a refund. The voucher is transferable and can be redeemed for future workshops.

6. Cancellation or Postponement by the Organizer

The organizer reserves the right to cancel or postpone workshops for important reasons. Important reasons include, in particular:

•    Failure to reach the minimum number of participants,
•    Illness or absence of the workshop leader,
•    Force majeure or other unforeseeable events.

In such cases, the amount already paid will be refunded in full or an alternative date or voucher will be offered. Further claims, in particular for damages (e.g., travel or accommodation costs), are excluded to the extent permitted by law.

7. Liability

Participation in the workshops is at your own risk. The organizer is only liable in cases of intent or gross negligence.
The organizer accepts no liability for damage to items brought along or personal valuables.

Liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

8. Copyright and Image Rights

All workshop content, materials, and documents are protected by copyright. Reproduction, distribution, or publication is only permitted with express written consent.

Photos and videos may be taken during the workshops. By participating, the participant agrees that these recordings may be used for documentation and marketing purposes, unless objected to in writing.

9. Data Protection

Personal data will be processed exclusively for the purpose of booking, communicating, and conducting the workshops. The provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) apply. Further information can be found in the organizer's privacy policy.

10. Final Provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.
Should individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions be wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of the organizer.
