Who is this course for?
This workshop is for everyone who wants to learn or get better at figure drawing from a life model. If you’re a beginner without any experience, we recommend you do the Drawing Basics workshop beforehand.
What will I learn?
Anatomy & Understanding The Human Body
In this workshop you’ll learn the basics of human anatomy and what the most important anchor points are to be able to correctly transfer proportions.
Line Guidance, Volume and Shading
You’ll practice how to realistically depict the form and volume of the human body through line guidance, transitions and shading.
Detailed Long Pose
After finishing the first few sketches, you’ll then work from the same model in a constant pose for a couple of days. This gives you the possibility to concentrate on details and work on creating a likeness to the model.
Process & schedule
- 5-day long workshop, 30 hours of lessons in total
- Class times: Monday-Friday from 9:30-16:30
- Lunch break: 12:30-13:30
- Language: German and/or English, depending on individual language skills

Materials needed
Before the Workshop starts, we’ll give you a list with the exact materials you are going to need. These consist of paper, pencils or kneadable erasers among other things.
If you want to have it easier, you could also buy our Starter Set Drawing and get all of the materials you need at the start of your workshop.
