Who is this course for?
This workshop is for participants with no or little experience. This is the right curse for you, even if you’re unsure if drawing is something for you, but you’ve always wanted to try it out.
What will I learn?
Materials
First, you’ll get to know the drawing materials: you’ll for example learn how to properly sharpen your pencils, how to correctly hold them or which pencil hardness is used for what.
Proportions
Then, we’ll teach you precise measurement methods to give you safety while drawing – which you also can use in a variety of ways, e. g. for portraits, landscapes or painting in general.
Light and shadow
You’ll learn how different kinds of shading create three-dimensionality and how light and shadow impacts objects, compositions or people. With this understanding your work will gain noticeable depth and will look more realistic.
Process & schedule
- 5-day long workshop, 30 hours of lessons in total
- Class times: Monday-Friday from 9:30-16:30
- Lunch break: 12:30-13:30
- Language: German and/or English, depending on individual language skills

Materials needed
Before the Workshop starts, we’ll give you a list with the exact materials you are going to need. These consist of paper, pencils or kneadable erasers among other things.
If you want to have it easier, you could also buy our Starter Set Drawing and get all of the materials you need at the start of your workshop.
