Perfect for anyone just starting out with drawing or who never had the chance to properly learn the basics – this intensive workshop is your ideal introduction.

What will I learn?

Material Knowledge & Measurement Techniques

In the first week, you'll learn essential measurement techniques, how to work with different materials, and a structured approach to building your drawings step by step – from the first line to the final details.

Light & Shadow

Deepen your understanding of light and shadow to create volume and depth. This helps you develop a sense for spatial representation and enhances the impact of your drawings.

Drawing with Charcoal

In the second week, you'll work with charcoal – a versatile medium for both precise and expressive drawing. Through additional projects, you'll reinforce your foundational skills and continue developing your personal style.

Process & schedule

10-day long workshop, 60 hours of lessons in total
Class times: Monday-Friday from 9:30-16:30
Lunch break: 12:30-13:30
Language: German and/or English, depending on individual language skills

Materials needed

Before the Workshop starts, we’ll give you a list with the exact materials you are going to need. These consist of paper, pencils or kneadable erasers among other things.

If you want to have it easier, you could also buy our Starter Set Drawing and get all of the materials you need at the start of your workshop.
